Enhance the design of your interior and exterior spaces with Compass collection door pulls from Forms+Surfaces. Compass door pulls are a highly-configurable, trend-setting, low-cost alternative for tubular door pulls. You can order your pulls using our exclusive Customizer to select from a wide variety of designs, options and lengths.
Create a custom look by choosing from multiple grip and standoff designs, mix metals and finishes, and combine grips with standoffs in almost limitless variations.
STANDARD COMPASS FEATURES
- Each pull consists of two basic elements, the grip (handle) and standoffs.
- Grips are round bars and can be straight or curved, with either round or flat ends (some exceptions apply).
- Grips can be fabricated from stainless steel or bronze with eight different finishes.
- Standoffs are available in five different designs and eight different finishes.
- Grips, standoffs, materials and finishes can be combined to create a custom design.
- Suitable for interior or exterior use.
- Center to center length is variable, allowing for easy retrofit installations. NOTE: Forms+Surfaces recommends a center-to-center length of 6” less than the overall length for pulls up to 14” long and 12” less than overall length for pulls longer than 14”.
800 SERIES FEATURES
- Grip diameter is 7/8” (22mm).
- Straight grip lengths from 6” to 92” are available. Longer lengths may require an intermediate standoff.
- Suitable for interior or exterior use.
- Black Santoprene elastomer is not available on 800 series pulls.
- Pull may be single-mounted on wood or metal doors.
- Pulls may be back-to-back mounted on wood, metal or tempered glass doors.
- Forms+Surfaces does not recommend concealed single mounting on wood doors. Frequent or heavy use can compromise the mounting.
- To avoid flexing, Forms+Surfaces recommends standoffs should be placed no more than 30” center-to-center. Longer lengths will require intermediate standoffs.
- For back-to-back applications a quantity of 2 pulls must be ordered.
1200 SERIES FEATURES
- Grip diameter is 1-1/4” (32mm).
- Straight grip lengths from 6” to 92” are available. Longer lengths may require an intermediate standoff.
- Suitable for interior or exterior use.
- Black Santoprene elastomer is available only on 1200 series grips with flat ends.
- Pull may be single or back-to-back mounted on wood, metal or tempered glass doors.
- Forms+Surfaces does not recommend concealed mounting on wood doors. Frequent or heavy use can compromise the mounting.
- To avoid flexing, standoffs should be placed no more than 87” center-to-center on stainless steel grips or 75" center-to-center on bronze grips. Longer lengths require intermediate standoffs.
- For back-to-back applications a quantity of 2 pulls must be ordered.
- For single mounting on tempered glass doors, end caps are required ONLY for single mounting on tempered glass doors. You do not have to order them for single mounting on wood or metal doors.
