KnobDeco makes security of our website a primary concern. This section outlines the steps we have taken to ensure the security of the website and the third parties we use to host and process information.

The KnobDeco website is hosted by Big Commerce, a cloud-based (SaaS) platform that, in our opinion, provides the best security features available. These include:

ISO/IEC27001:2013 certification. This is an international standard outlining best practices for information security management. Management includes a formal set of policies, procedures, processes and systems that manage information risks for digital and physical applications.

Big Commerce uses the Google Cloud Data Center for storage. The Google Cloud Platform is the industry's fastest, most flexible and secure cloud hosting infrastructure.

Big Commerce supports Transport Layer Security (TLSv1.2). TLS is a protocol that provides authentication, privacy and data integrity between computer connections. TLS is an updated version of the older Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. When you access the KnobDeco website please notice that the address URL starts with “https”. The “s” and green padlock indicate that our address is encrypted for your protection. It's a good rule of thumb to avoid any website if this padlock is missing or is crossed out.

Big Commerce utilizes the Google Cloud Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation service to prevent and/or limit denial of service.
All payments are handled through PayPal or Authorize.net. Security provisions for PayPal can be accessed on their website. KnobDeco itself does not collect, store or have access to your financial information. Authorize.net complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification for encrypted protection and transmission of your data.
