Abundant in all oceans for nearly 330 million years until the time of the demise of the dinosaurs. The ribbed spiralform shell lead to its name from the Greek ram-horned god called Ammon. The lid is made of Acacia wood and includes a silicone seal that is designed to fit regular mason jars, but can be used on any like-sized container. The mounting hardware has a satin nickel finish. Clean with mild soap and water only, no chemicals.
