White Freshwater Shells are found in both calm and running water habitats such as ponds, small lakes, still waters near river and stream banks, as well as flowing streams and rivers. The inner surface of the shell is pearl white, sometimes tinged with attractive, iridescent colors. The shell is attached to a glass cabochon that is glued to the base.
