Myterra Gemstone Hardware AMMO-L-15: Acacia Wooden Lid with Ammonite handle. Our Ammonite fossils from Madagscar are of Myterra Gemstone Hardware quality, cut in half and polished. Abundant in all oceans for nearly 330 million years until the time of the demise of the dinosaurs. The ribbed spiralform shell lead to its name from the Greek ram-horned god called Ammon. The lid is made of Acacia wood and includes a silicone seal that is designed to fit regular mason jars, but can be used on any like-sized container. The mounting hardware has a satin nickel finish. Clean with mild soap and water only, no chemicals.
